MAGA messaging takes a nugget of reality-based grievance, stuffs it into the middle of a huge lie sandwich & serves it up to justify enacting an extremist agenda that has nothing to do w/the problem. Don't get fooled by "But that nugget, tho!" arguments.

Dems and the media should be asking every day about Bird Flu. How will Trump protect health, farmers, consumers? How are cuts to health research and installation of science skeptics affecting the response? Do they have a plan to help us, or only excuses and accusations? Trump owns this crisis.

What if you kept doing your Diversity, Equity, Inclusion program? If people complained, asked which they didnt like and why? If people tried to shut it down, told the press and explained what it does? Asked the public to support you in protest?

If Trump wants to convince countries that it's a great idea for them to suddenly take in a million Palestinian refugees (who by no means want to leave their home) he could start by reopening the U.S. to refugees who are desperate to come here for survival and freedom.

The stories about #L.A. folks having to grab a few personal items and flee before their homes were destroyed are heartbreaking--and make me think of the refugees throughout the world on whom we're suddenly slamming the door.
