Final Fantasy 7 doing the genocide route decades before undertale was really unexpected
Been playing FF7 remake (the first one), and I am taken away from amazing the characters look, and how the story although differing from the source material- really fleshes out the world and motivations of all involved.

I was there, not quite paying attention. I heard the sound of the boss getting killed so I was ready to read dialogue and then suddenly I heard the boss music start up again. Look up and lo and behold the boss was back
So apparently in Final Fantasy 7 I accidentally triggered a glitch where I skipped what was supposed to be a random encounter and it caused me to have to fight the next boss twice. Like I killed it the first time, got my EXP, and then a second encounter triggered and he was back at full health.

Metaphor is a truly beautiful game. My only complaint? I wish it were 100 hours longer and 50 of those hours were exclusively batlin content
