Also even though we had to reintroduce Katie. I like to think since the pilot spiritually is canon, Katie just full on doesn’t remember she’s met Charlie already. She can barely remember her name 😂

For the record. She is not in the right. It’s not a good mindset and it’s just digging a hole deeper. But calling her stupid? I guess everyone just needs to wait for the rest of the season to decide ❤️

Despite some belief, we are all exceedingly critical of ourselves in the writing room and care deeply. We know the weight and are just trying to have fun, make each other laugh and feel. as we are all fans of these characters, WE want to write the same things YOU probably want to watch ❤️

Is it weird to write in a vacuum without having any idea what hits, what doesn’t, what works/doesnt, who resonates, ect. Yeah! But it’s also freeing to just have to commit to the story and choices and not have as much outside influence. It keeps it honest. And I have to trust this story I’m telling.

Between Hazbin and Helluva our writing team is awesome! Adam N, Skye, Brandon, Lyle, Adam S, Vidhya, Rachel, Connor and Christina are all working/worked on these shows with me! It’s always a team and I’m honored to work with them!! 💕🥰

I didn’t set out to be a writer I fell into it! Ive learned SO MUCH. Each season is a new experience and chance to improve and personally I can just see the improvement each season between the two shows. I’m so proud of the writing team that I’ve grown alongside. They don’t get enough love 🥰
