I’d say if you have the means to wait and the funds aren’t a necessity, then I’d wait. Maybe they’ve become overwhelmed. However, if a refund is a better investment of your time and can be used elsewhere in your life then request a refund politely.

I also had a similar experience switching to digital back in 2018 I found (for me) the best answer was an IPad with a paper like screen protector. It feels super similar to traditional and allows my brain to switch into creative mode.
