Examining the epidemiology of Kaposi Sarcoma (KS) in the US between 1996 and 2016, authors found that the KS risk was still elevated among PWH in the current treatment era and that consistent HIV control impacts prognosis.

In a large study of #PWH in Spain, low-level viremia was associated with an increased risk of virological failure but was not linked to higher likelihood of clinical event, providing assurance that LLV does not necessarily lead to adverse clinical outcomes.

Data from the MACS-WIHS Combined Cohort Study showed traumatic events occurring before age 18 increased cardiovascular disease risk among Men who have Sex with Men with & without HIV, underscoring the importance of trauma-informed care for this population.
