Calgary is nothing compared to Vancouver, Toronto, or Montreal in terms of sustainable (population-wise) development and quality of life. I would suggest against migration to Alberta in general under the current governments.

NA city development: we need a study to re-evaluate the prior study, then we should do another independent study next year before committing (and the cycle repeats). Yes, governments tend to throw money away for nothing unfortunately.

Do they every consult engineers and urban planning/transport experts in any of these studies?? Time and time again we are let down by our government, so much for improving the local economy by withholding funding and proposing routes that don't make sense.

Russian bases still seem untouched (Tartus and Latakia) but I am not sure whether they would surrender or just evacuate.
