One thing that really strikes me about people who shallowly argue for trams in N-America is how little they realize that the way we manage traffic here will seldom produce the level of ease of access they experience in European trams and long for

If you, regular person, did anything like this after a fatal car accident, you would be prosecuted for a variety of crimes, including insurance fraud.
If you then repeatedly lied to the courts about it, like Tesla did, you'd get prosecuted for that too, plus stiff monetary sanctions.

Paris region/Île-de-France will study 15 metro line extensions, planning to rank them by 2027 to determine next steps. These projects will extend the metro further into the suburbs, complementing the Grand Paris Express program now under construction.
