Hobbyist horologist, fanatical philologist, a part-time etymologist, and radical geologist; an antsy anthropologist, voracious volcanologist! When betting on biology, it helps to know cartography, or else you might be trapped in tricky temporal anomalies!
Alas, I am afraid I shall have to disappoint you even still. I am not a republican.

Fun sidequest: The Night Manager (2016) is getting a second season after exactly one decade.
Pure brilliance. 😏

Indeed. If we could truly see behind the curtain, the Epstein Files and Trump would probably be the very least of our worries. 😒
For the better I suppose.

We could try a different method. If you were writing a TV show, and say this was all fictional, or reading it in a John Grisham novel, hypothetically, what kind of plot twist would you put in there? What kind of info might incentivize not leaking it?

If nothing else, fun way to pass the time.

The sad irony in this is, say, hypothetically, that there really wasn’t enough data to convict Trump of much actual crime, but there was horrific & plentiful evidence for other powerful figures.
Both sides aren’t afraid of Trump being guilty.

They are afraid of what it means for them if he is not.

…Unless of course, every hacker that did, discovered something in those files that ironically prevented them from disclosing the information.
Believe me- someone has succeeded, and then thought better of it.

So the question is… what kind of information could possibly incentivize withholding it?

Indeed. Webster and I played a round of Scrabble (which I soundly won) & agreed it was an appropriate retcon, by way of marrying “unconscious” with “inexcusable”, as in when one wishes to be unconscious instead of having to make an inexcusable, yet necessary decision.

Desperate times and all that.

…Or perhaps they couldn’t stand Trump, but the thought of electing a politician with a lower IQ than even the village idiot was even more unconsciousable. Trump may be wrong about many things, but unfortunately, that wasn’t one of them… 😒
Politics is a game with many losers.

Given that women in New York post 1970 were of course unaware of future details by virtue of the limits of the timeline, I’d venture to say more than a few here would have unknowingly turned their heads at that 6’3 blond, and quite fit, broad shouldered charmer. 🤣 😜
The more you know…
