There is no way he made the right call. She was leaving. Even if you think *she* deserved it, he endangered his colleagues and bystanders. I get that they're under pressure but in this situation in a sensible country, he would be put on leave and have to answer to a judge.

Even if this were the case (it's not - she is obviously turning away from him), fatally shooting the driver endangers bystanders and passengers and goes against all DOJ advice and training. What is actually shameful is the MAGA faithful not condemning him because of *their* political narrative.

recovery and then freedom flight ❤️ Mama blackbirds know me well now and stop the call when I come running to grab my cats and bring them in. They're now on limited garden hours. One ate a butterfly yday though :/ Feel horrible and will never have outdoor cats again.

That noise is the soundtrack to my spring. Got two pairs of blackbirds who insist on nesting here every year. This year I have rescued two blackbird fledglings from the jaws of my cats, nursed & fed them overnight - lucky to have a bird rescue nearby who took them and sent me a video of their 1/2
