it’s literally just ao3’s privacy policy. its servers are in the US, so your data is processed in the US, and this is just saying privacy laws in the states are different than in other countries. nothing nefarious is happening here, it’s a standard privacy policy.

BY THE WAY, THIS IS IMPORTANT. If you want everyone showing up on your feeds, you gotta go into Settings > Basic > Languages and clear the Content Languages field. Essential.
