My weekly fee just doubled. It’s still a fraction of what it was 6 years ago for my first child but doubling of a weekly cost is still a shock. It’s more than reversed the last subsidy increase.

Based on my local Dunnes it also means bananas, carrots and oranges. Which is baffling.

One of the good things about Irish though is once you learn the rules they are applied fairly consistently.
