Had a bad night. I was in a lot of pain and also really scared and anxious. So I did weird art. I don't have doctors out here yet and have run out of meds and am trying to figure out what to do, but wouldn't you know, figuring things out is really difficult when you're unmedicated

"Im Not Naking it" written in marker on concrete. There is no apostrophe between I and m. The first letter of the first three words is capitalized. "Not" is underlined 3 times.

Yeah it weirds be out every time someone posts an image without any kind of text post or caption, like the digital equivalent of those people that hand out flyers and you end up with one and you're like "what's this for" lol

Maybe more people than I think have text posts that don't match the image? Like, on my Sally Ride drawing, the post said I saw the Sally Ride documentary and had to draw her, so it felt like, duh the image is obvs gonna be a drawing of her, why am I adding alt text to say that it's a drawing of her

I think how you correct is more the important factor for that. If you say "goddammit, it's they/them, get it right" versus "hey quick reminder, it's they/them", that's different, you know? (Goes out the window if they're doing it on purpose tho)

Cis is not the same as comfortable in your body - just like how trans is not the same as uncomfortable in your body! There are plenty of trans people that don't experience an ounce of dysphoria and it is really really important not to equate the two. There are lot of cis people that have dysmorphia

The flipside is that if someone says something that hurts you, tell them right away, because they will probably forget (assuming it's accidental), and you will carry the hurt with you and they won't know

I get them in a sense, like, for example, I think my girlfriend is hot, I think being hot is good, and I don't think I'm hot, but I don't wanna *be* my girlfriend. And there have been 4 men throughout my life plus 2 actors that I've found hot and I would punch the sun before wanting to be a man

Afraid to ask but, what's the point of alt-text for non-text images if you can't see it anyway? "Art of [character]" feels pointless if you don't know what the character looks like and can't see the art style. It just seems insulting, like rubbing it in that the person is blind

I don't see what's wrong with this? I don't support puritanical culture, I will go to bat for sex scenes and straight up porn existing, but that doesn't mean I should feel bad for disliking it. Not liking it is not the same as wanting to ban it. I'm not ace, I want to have sex just not to look at it

I am suffer. I ate bad meat because I trusted the sell-by date instead of myself. I'm cramping, parched, fevering and scrolled by two food poison related posts despite looking up nothing.
