To expand on point a) generational unfairness is at it's absolute peak. House prices, money spent on pensions, adult social care, frozen tax bands, Brexit denying opportunities.

Deffo a vote winner for Lab/LD if they were to introduce it, but I doubt enough 25-35 year olds (speaking as one) would back Tories/Reform if they went for it given:

a) they have governed our entire lives and we're in the shit
b) they're totally out line with younger millennial & gen z values
