I LOVE the Arid house.
The Orchid Show will be at Missouri Botanical Garden for a few more days, and I highly recommend going to see it. I’ve been four times. It’s like entering a sanctuary of beauty. A balm for these times.

Whenever teachers send me their students’ handwritten thank you notes after a visit, my spirits are lifted by their words. I have a massive box of student notes from classrooms I’ve visited over the years because I can’t bring myself to throw them away.

Update on stamp situ: I went to the post office & asked if my cards would be delivered w these stamps. They said no bc once a stamp has adhered to something else they are no longer validate. These had adhered to the 33yo stamp book. So I had to peel them off and put on new ones. Now we know

I asked my husband for some extra stamps since I always send out the cards, and he handed me these antiques that I had to use glue to affix to envelopes. What are the olds these cards make it to their destination via USPS?
