...so it's not like he's going to be able to get a job coaching in the countryside or anything like that. There's gotta be at least a dozen countries he can no longer visit with that criminal record including the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, China... career completely torched.

I'll give the JFA as much credit as can be given - they didn't fuck around once they found out what was going on. I would imagine his coaching badges (I assume he still maintains his JFA S-class) will be suspended/rescinded next time that committee meets...

Yes but the JFA 100% does not want to wade into that conversation; I think they hope getting the former president to say "yeah fuck that guy" satisfies the media/public's desire for a quote of actual substance vs. the lawyer-absolutely-checked-every-word statements we got last night.

Most sporting events should start no later than 7pm - I will reluctantly allow for 7:30 kickoff/first tip/whatev if it's a playoff series and you want to start the broadcast at 7.

Kids should be able to watch the game in full, either in person or on TV, and still get a reasonable amount of sleep.

JFA not commenting at all on the case itself. In statement, JFA President Tsuneyasu Miyamoto called Kageyama’s conduct “unacceptable in the soccer world” and said it would be an opportunity for community to revisit governance and compliance measures.

The court said that “whether or not the images were generated by AI they were equivalent to CP” and that Kageyama had also attempted to search for the real thing.

Kageyama is said to have apologized upon being informed of his dismissal. JFA may install a temporary TD for this international window.

I mean I think it’s well known that Reds management basically just let UB do whatever they wanted; Bannergate forced their hand, as did the EC incident.

I’d personally like to see wide reforms to how SGs are organized because I think they should be far more accountable than they currently are.

I will say that whatever the AR officially is (IMAX 70mm? VistaVision?) is *huge*; we sat in row F and it wasn't the worst but probably would have liked to sit somewhere between H and K.
