sure you could be on some sort of list where generically every username is tried if they are on the platform but those kind of attacks are really rare in comparison to targeted attacks.

also even if it was only by default or forced, the idea that it would constitute doxxing when people have to know your username, that your using the platform and specifically look for you is crazy.

its just that some features coincidentally need more or different data then whats already available to function.

right now its off by default and people assume later it will be on by default and then required.
even tho there is absolutely no indicator that bluesky is looking specifically for ways to collect more data as facebook does.
