we just had her appeal and it went super well! the psychologist was nearly in tears at the end after we described what’s going on with her. she was very apologetic for the original denial and said she has a lot to go over with the team. I really hope my kid gets approved.

bruhhhh my kid was denied services from our regional center. we can appeal it but she’s going to be an adult in only a couple years and I don’t know how she’s going to manage on her own without support. obviously she’ll be able to live with me but I want her to be independent.
