Every aspiring VGM arranger should attempt an arrangement of “The Prelude” from Final Fantasy. It’s a perfect “trainer” track: a simple melody, an arpeggiated chord progression to show you the safe notes, and a little bit of modal interchange on the last two chords keep things interesting.

Back from the dead. I've done a full overhaul. Thoroughly cleaned up, full LCD panel replacement done, fresh battery. Still a fantastic piece of hardware. Shame about KORG abandoning this modular platform. Now if I could get my hands on a Radias-R unit....
