Every city needs a dog park bar like this one in Knoxville! Tonight was their Rescue Dog Night where all rescues get in for $2 off. Lady has a blast!

Lady decided that out of a whole entire hill of grass, that the best place to poop was RIGHT up against the one street sign pole in that grass. 😅 Hey, she needed some stability I guess.

On my last Sacramento work trip, I coordinated & got to help take 3 daycare dogs w/ our Director to the Hyatt Centric Downtown for a marketing photoshoot! These are a few of the BTS shots culled out of the finals. Just me trying to wrangle, make weird noises, and entice the dogs with treats 😅.

One of our favorite dog friendly hiking trails last year was Emory Gap Falls in Frozen Head State Park, #Tennessee. 🐾🥾

The whole park is dog friendly and there are so many trails to choose from (quite a few include hiking to different waterfalls)!

No, having a dog hasn’t stopped our travels. We’ve had Lady for just over a year now and she’s already gone on multiple cross country road trips, and has visited over 15 states and 6 national parks. 🐾 And we wanna show you how you can travel with your dog too! #dogfriendlytravel

I started A Jaunt With Joy as an ex wildlife biologist & cruise crew, now sharing dog friendly travel & outdoor adventures! We’re based outside of the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, w/ our bully breed Lady, who was rehomed with us a year ago. She was a daycare client of mine for ~2 years before that!
