Before braces, a dentist told me veneers were the only option -- I checked again this year. The discoloration is below the surface, whitening will do nothing for me. I can either spend $$$ on teeth facades or live with brown teeth.

Thank you so much for posting about this. I had an 11mm overbite until I could afford braces in my 30s. Before then, my sticky-out teeth suffered several injuries. They are permanently discolored. I am SO self-conscious on video calls where everyone else has shiny white teeth and mine are brown.
