Let's talk about this Knicks floor and how we're going to kill it with fire.

It's a not comeback if you never lost it.

Look how little the Bears' second level considers the play action here. One of the biggest weaknesses of being a poor handoff-running team is that you lose this weapon that other teams design their whole playbook around.

Watch how this whole Giants Zone falls apart once the short motion hits. Moore ends up running wide open, but since Caleb is late, Holland has a chance to recover and make a play on the ball.

Benjamin Albright on the other place suggest that the Jets are looking to trade for an established QB.

Feels like Kyler Murray...right?

In my office, Christmas starts two days before Halloween. Wanna fight about it?

It's fall in Southwest Connecticut.

One of my goals when I started twitch.tv/therpgnetwork was to become a person who could speak about these games with some level of expertise.

Now, after nearly 100 games played, here's the first version of a Tier List of all the games I've played.

I'm sure this won't invite arguments at all.

#3 - Sound Coffee Roasters, Bridgeport, CT - A cute spot that has a great fall menu. The Pecan Pie latte banged.

6. Nioh - My personal favorite combat system in any Soulslike. It trends a little more to the action side than FromSoft tends to in and creates a feeling of player control that Bloodborne never gave me.

The story is barely there, and the inventory system was grindy. Bosses were a little spongy.

5. Grandia II - Another classic of my youth. I am a Dreamcast lover and this scratches my itch. Again, the systems aren't very good in retrospect, but the charming characters transported me back to my parents' basement with the weird carpet.

Mareg Rules.

4. Persona 3 Reload - After playing Persona 5: Royal, I didn't know what to expect going back to an older title. P3 is a fun game in its own right, but it feels like a beta test of P5. The characters were well-developed, and the combat was engaging. Tartarus sucked, and its a good 1/3 of the game.

3. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - What hasn't been said already? It's a GOTY contender that doesn't quite stick the landing, but painted (haha) a world unlike any I've ever played before. The combat sucked in soulslike players with the desire to perfect the parry timing.
October 12, 2025 at 11:35 PM
2. 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim - My first visual novel that had a neat little RPG battle system tacked on to it.

I'm not running to play another one, but I will say that I appreciated the interesting take on sci-fi storytelling and interesting takes on character tropes.

1. Xenogears - A top-5 personal favorite of mine for being the first game to treat me like an adult who knew things. The Fei/Id identity disorder arc is one of my favorite in all of games.

In retrospect, I'm not so sure the combat and systems hold up but a building block memory for me.

Burns and Carter Stunt leads to a sack against Hurts. Even early in watching this tape, it seems like the Giants really wanted to attack the Left side of the Eagles' offensive line.

That is my Quarterback making Baun Grasp at air. Absolutely Amazing.

A quick reminder that Leonard Williams is still an absolute G and you probably didn't give him enough respect.

Brian Burns eats bad tackles alive. He and Carter both hit Spin moves for pressure in this game.

I am in my happy place.

Brian Burns annihilates bad tackles, and it's so fun to watch every single week.

This is the sixth or seventh time in this game where 49ers Mykel Williams (98) just pushed his lineman into the backfield and destroyed a play. There isn't much in the way of skill or pass-rush plan there, but this seems like a great place to start for a rookie.
September 16, 2025 at 3:32 PM
On this play, TE Jake Tonges has the option of tackling the Quarterback forward or seemingly lifting him overhead for a deadlift German suplex.

Seriously though, never seen that one before.
