Pie in the sky.
I couldn’t quite get to the bottom of the article (garbage website just keeps reloading) but I can’t see any mention of the cost or how it would be paid for.

Yep. Similar decisions, similar situations in the match, ours just quickly glossed over, theirs repeatedly scrutinised. This has an impact on future decisions, the refs feel it.

All the years go to mush in my memory. I think I remember Mourinho at Chelsea winning it and then collapsing to a bottom half finish next season.
I’m already finding this funny, and wondering whether it could get funnier still.

To me that’s the main takeaway. In yesterday’s game we had more linkup play from CF than we have had in several games combined - that’s going to get the rest of the team closer together and make the no. 10 look better
KDH has been working off scraps in previous games, yesterday more opportunities

Completely agree, Garner fantastic, does everything and everywhere. His fitness and strength seem to be improving, which only adds to his technical abilities.
I was concerned to be losing him from the middle of the park but Iroegbunum played very well.

Our 3rd disallowed goal was a subjective decision, could easily have been ruled by VAR that Barry was not interfering with play - I briefly thought it would stand during the review period.
Not possible to say that it was ‘correct’ or a ‘fact’.

I heartily agree, and would throw Nick Barmby in the mix

Barry should have been given longer, given an opportunity to make up for the miss.
Taking him off, when he had been playing quite well (certainly better than Beto normally does), is not a good way to develop a young player.
Not great from Moyes in my opinion

It’s psychologically damaging for a team when a miss like that happens, and it’s a boost for the opposition. It changed the game
I’d still start Barry again next week though, much better than an average Beto performance
I was annoyed he was hooked so early, should have been given longer to atone

Yep definitely. Flashes of skill and completed passes.

Barry has played well, completed more passes than Beto often does in 90 mins. I’m gutted he didn’t snaffle that chance. Crossing my fingers he can get one.
Agree Keane excellent.

I’m English and grew up on cricket but last night and the series in total was amazing.
I don’t know if it’s just because I’m exhausted, and giddy with the moment, but I think that the 2025 World Series tops the 2005 ashes - it’s certainly on a par with it.

Well there it is. Incredible series, maybe I’m just tired and not thinking straight but it’s hard to compare that to anything I’ve ever seen - I think it tops the England cricket 50 over World Cup final win versus NZ from a few years ago.
Heartbreaking for the Bluejays.

That deep fly ball was tense as hell as well.
Going to have to find some matchsticks for my eyes now. In game 3 I fell asleep at 16 innings, I can’t go that long again.
