In 1977, Profs. Mandell (R), Douglas (CTR) & Bennett (L) started working on the Principles and Practice of Infectious Diseases (PPID), which became the infectious diseases bible. Andrej Romanovsky, Temperature EIC, co-contributed a chapter on fever for the just released 10th edition of PPID.
