I’m going to say that the first one is the lie. I mean, if I ever shared a movie scene with Robert DeNero, I would lead every conversation with that. Every. Single. One.

There is absolutely nothing inherent in the term “car accident” that requires all parties involved to be in a vehicle, nor does it imply fault to anyone involved. Those specific details don’t matter to this particular post.
