it's just wack, man. Totally unforced error, especially to retweet him and post that in-between a ton of other retweets about how his work specifically was abhorrent. Devoid of all malice, that's just a really ignorant situation to walk into, like catastrophically ignorant.

Honestly, the level of ignorance it takes to be cutesy and funny about it is enough that I really can't trust his reporting. Add on saying that he didn't know about the other account while retweeting it just leaves a sour taste in my mouth that-

At least, it requires enough ignorance involved that I don't really feel comfortable engaging with your work pretty much at all anymore.

I'm gonna be really honest with you here man. I'm giving you as much rope as I think I can, but I think at least getting into this situation requires a lot of just plain ignorance, especially when you retweet the guy's joke and play gags about being mutuals with him
