Some people take those medications because otherwise they'd want to literally kill themselves because their brains DON'T produce enough serotonin to want to live. Just because you didn't do well while on antidepressants doesn't mean no one should take them.

I'd personally argue that the fact the gov't shutdown ended due to senate democrats caving in rather than senate republicans being willing to compromise shows just how extreme the American right has become. It's either they get their way or else they'll let everything burn down.
I just watched #DonaldTrump sign the bill that finally ended the Government Shutdown. One of the very few things I will at least slow clap for with him.
