They did a really good job with the BLNP. Was effectively the more holistic prototype that the provincial TOD legislation (more crudely) emulated.

If I had to guess it was because the plot became way too convoluted for anyone outside of core gamers to follow... Wasted opportunity given the value of the IP.

Certainly doesn't hurt that 20' ROWs are far less accommodating of multi-tonne vehicles and their commensurate effect on infrastructure degradation.

Public access is always a challenge. There are some munis that do great work, but it's often for internal purposes only. Some are lovely to work with, others less so.

In my experience, the high level reporting usually just the standard CMHC unit counts (starts/completions by typology) but even this can be patchy.

Wish more muni's followed the standard set by Toronto - both their development pipeline and employment survey methods are 👌

What I wouldn't give for municipalities to standardize their RZ/DP/BP data to include unit counts and floor area counts across different uses.
