When it comes to extremism, white supremacy and radical Islam they both are two sides of the same coin. They both hate pluralism and diversity, seeking domination over others. One is bounded by skin color and another is bounded by religion.

The difference is in you don’t become a president in China by being a populist demagogue, exploiting the hatred and prejudice of ignorant voters. China is run by engineers who’re pragmatic, experienced and wise. To compete with China, no need to abandon democracy but to bar disqualified demagogues.

Just make-up unfounded conclusion to belittle immigrants. While as if caring about meritocracy, his MAGA base still hate Indian or Asian immigrants who are hardworking both academically & professionally and still contributing well to tax revenue and economy.

Unfettered racial profiling against minorities, just for their look and skin color. If the same thing happens to European American “white” folks, who are majority of MAGA base, it would have been an uproar. Many MAGA people with “white privilege” would not understand this or have empathy too.

I know some minorities who voted for Trump, when they are either brainwashed religious zealots or anti LGBT, hypocrite immigrants who do not like new comer immigrants though they themselves were also once immigrants, or simply too foolish to believe Trump being businessman can fix the economy.

Just because something evil was legalized in the past does not mean it should be allowed or tolerated. Slavery was once legal in America, it does not mean we should normalize the legalization of slavery. Same thing here with institutionalized racism.

Worse is now the prospect of flagrantly violating the Constitution through an Executive Order with the help of the compromised Supreme Court to end the clearly and explicitly defined 14th Amendment.

There is no such thing as American race but instead America was founded on ideas and ideals based on civic duties and democratic norms. MAGA tries to sow evil seeds of ethnonationalism.

Immigration policies under this administration is not about immigration but their ulterior motive is ethnic cleansing of non-Europeans, gradually taking down democratic guardrails and norms that protect the rights of minorities enshrined in the Constitution.

That’s because many of these people were in such movements not because they believe in principles but because they hate or dislike the other sides.

If assault by carjackers against Big Doge with no fatalities prompted Trump to send troops to Washington DC, he must do more to stop school shootings from happening again in this country, instead of just cheap talks like thoughts and prayers.

Basically it is a skin color-based immigration policy, even targeting legal immigrants. Also using it as a weapon/threat against foreign-born American dissidents.

GOP controlled Congress at this point is more of like rubber stamp for Trump’s preferences, no check and balance as it is supposed to be, doing whatever Trump wants. Instead of having integrity and principles, this speaker is even gas lighting critics of the bill.
