I’ve made a lot of new cross stitch patterns lately. It was time to do one in glass again. My second time doing a rubber ducky. This one is smaller, ornament size. Happy with how it turned out!

I’m so inspired by @booker.senate.gov @corybooker.com who brought powerfully good trouble to the US Senate floor this week (with poetic bonus of burying words of a notorious racist). I made a cross stitch pattern of one of Booker’s great lines. Stitch it with me! Pattern in the shop linked in bio.

This was VERY satisfying to stitch. Inspiration came from Tiny Pricks Project.

Cross stitch ideas coming faster than I can stitch. These are the first two in a group of 5 (& counting?) along these lines. I picked Ukraine and trans folks to start because of how they are targeted. Patterns listed on Etsy under Snarky Whale Stitches. More soon…

For those of us who can (with love and respect to those who don’t feel safe in doing this), visibility feels like increasingly powerful resistance. Just finished two more patterns if anyone wants the therapeutic fun of stabbing fabric repeatedly. Shop link in bio. #lgbtqpride #notgoinganywhere
