I stand with Israel and Jesus
I provided a source. Published in the magazine Encounter by Seymour Martin Lipset:

people can pretend history is not real, but facts are still facts. MLK and Rosa Parks supported Israel, RP even joining BASIC.

The quote was published by Seymour Martin Lipset in an article recounting a dinner attended by MLK, decades ago. And again there are direct quotes from MLK himself saying Israel has right to exist and he spoke often about support of Jews & Israel publicly.

no the letter was fake or a work of fiction (probably inspired by this quote) but the quote of him responding to a question about antizionism is real and his support for Israel and Jews is well documented

Just because a child of a political leader makes a political statement about their parent does not change history. Ronald Regan's son is a liberal, a son of a Hamas founder is a strong advocate for Zionism, children do not speak for their parents.

“The whole world must see that Israel must exist and has a right to exist – and is one of the great outposts of democracy in the world.” MLK direct quote.

“When people criticize Zionists, they mean Jews. You’re talking antisemitism.” MLK responding to question about antizionism.

And I really am going to leave off now and I hope you will study scripture, been a pleasure and if you want to talk again feel free to hit me up.

trying not go round and round but I did feel a need to respond to this one. God is the Source of morality. He is the Path Maker, and thus He is showing people the path He has laid out for them by giving them the tools they need to find their way back to Him.

probably going to close out here and recommend reading book of Ecclesiastes which is very short and a lot of people have said at least challenged them to think. Good day and I hope you keep searching.

that's going into spiritual journey which is better left to scripture, but there is a pull there. Atheists are a very small percentage of humans, most human beings are open to God or higher forces existing or even think it's likely God exists, even if they have not chosen a religion or faith.
January 8, 2026 at 2:07 PM
There is a pull to God, but living in an imperfect world, humans can be distracted or confused. A muslim may think they've found God, but still they fell off as many have said they do, but many may not bother to look deeper.
January 8, 2026 at 1:58 PM
Again an important question is where does a moral compass come from. A compass doesn't just make itself a compass is made with purpose of pointing in a direction. Scripture says God put in men's (human's) hearts a desire to seek righteousness and seek Him.
January 8, 2026 at 1:55 PM
Feeling a pull to God doesn't mean people listen. Many people feel a pull to go a warmer climate, but are distracted by life, and they might build a home with extra heat, or more to a sunny hillside, to feel more comfortable where they are instead of actually moving.

An atheist might claim there is not an objective reason human survival is good, and not simply random, and might even claim, as many materialists do, that the universe will collapse, leaving no trace of humans or morality they kept themselves busy with.
January 8, 2026 at 1:37 PM
An atheist might claim being a humanist is a hobby, and claim being sadistic instead of kind has just as much meaning, or lack there of, as being kind and caring.
January 8, 2026 at 1:34 PM
A person has capacity for moral discernment, but one may ask where that comes from, why does it matter. If a person claims moral discernment is a product of nature and thus random, they are claiming morality is like a fire, a reaction or chain of reactions with no grand purpose.
January 8, 2026 at 1:27 PM
Also moral obligation is not addressed by atheism. If an atheist wants to be a humanist or a sadist, they might claim either way, they will one day be a pile of dust, and their consciousness dissolved, with not a care if others judge them or even remember them.
January 8, 2026 at 1:27 AM
For objective morality to be real, it needs a judge of morality higher than humans, and collections of humans. One human, or group of humans differ from other humans and groups of humans about morality, so in order for there to be a correct, true morality, not subjective, a higher judge is needed.
January 8, 2026 at 1:17 AM
Humans have a moral compass which points to God, but there's often confusion about God because humans live in an imperfect world. So people may think there is more than one god, or they may think they've found God but haven't. Scripture says to truly seek God and God will reveal Himself.
January 8, 2026 at 1:13 AM
Dawkins also backs this up, saying he realized atheists are likely to conclude morality is a sucker's game and simply focus on pleasure, thinking they're going to one day be a pile of dust and their consciousness ended with no shame about crimes committed, and no pride in good deeds done.
January 8, 2026 at 12:57 AM
rewatch. and listen closely. He says atheists claim rape is subjectively wrong, but not objectively wrong, meaning two atheists might disagree about rape being justified or not, and they would be at a stalemate.
January 8, 2026 at 12:41 AM
This vid does an amazing job of explaining objective morality's need for God.

Related helpful scripture is Ecclesiastes which explores meaninglessness of life apart from God.
