Far from being done drawing him. Human shaped #poseidon this time! Sometiems he has to get out of the water and that's when he has to five himself legs. He shrinks to less than half his normal size then though, because even using his trident as a walking stick, balancing a big body is HARD

Rayseidon wanted to show off his favourite outfits, because neither he nor I can decide which one we like best (turns out the answer to the question of "why are you a rainbow" that I've kept asking him is "because he likes being pretty")

You know that saying, 'the voices won'? Well, in this case the voices were discord friends (including but not limited to @dogtoothsunday.bsky.social) and what they wanted was to know what my Poseidon is hiding in that slit of his... and dared me to go freaky with it :'D

He's very bioluminescent! Large parts of him have the almost glitter-like luminescence of a velvet belly lanternshark, but his golden ichor shining through translucent flesh also gives him a spooky vibe. Imagine seeing that pass under your ship in 1200BC at night.

He's a mixture of orca, giant devil ray, and seahorse, with the colouration of a dolphinfish and features from hatpin urchin, snakelocks anemone, and neon flying squid.

He's about 9m (30ft) tall so the size of a large male orca, though he can grow or shrink if he has to.
