I have been seeing a lot of hate on the new discord UI. I really wanna understand what all does everyone dislike and why exactly? Because a lot of what I'm seeing is a reactionary "this sucks" or "ew i hate it". I would love to get educated on what discord messed up and why. Thx!

Every time my manager assigns me a task, it's P0. It's either urgent or urgent-er. And timelines are, of course, ASAP and immediately.
Anyway, any advice on context switching? It's so hard to go from trying to focus on one thing to then be thrown another thing that needs to be done asap

When ads can use all these levers to narrow down who they wanna sell to, why shouldn't we have access to the same options and customize our experiences completely?

I’ve re-done branding kits because a client saw something on Pinterest and said, “This! This is what I want now.”
But nothing hurts more than thinking it’s Thursday... and realizing it’s only Wednesday. 🫠

I, un-ironically, started in design because of Canva. It was free and easy to use. I outgrew it soon, but it was a great stepping stone. Now, I go back to it with completely different use cases. I genuinely feel that the people who laugh at it think of it as a template editor still. It's not!

Disappointed by the visuals of this year's Spotify wrapped as it felt too safe. Turns out, Spotify laid off 17% of their workforce right after the '23 Wrapped. Surely there's a connection. What in the pink pony tattoo house stoned grandma catwalk??
