Ah yes, my favourite time of the year. When I can almost constantly smell smoke and am permanently paranoid that our house is on fire.
So glad that wood burners became fashionable for a brief period a few years ago and all of our neighbours just had to rush out and buy them!

I hate that it takes just one tiny moment to fill me with rage and days to burn it back off.
It then takes a Herculean conscious effort not to pass that anger on to others.
