It should not be that surprising to me that the government has ignored health advice; it isn't the first, it most certainly won't be the last, but I want to talk about this because the effects, like many decisions in health, are quiet, misguided, and arguably irresponsible by typical logic.
Health officials said there was 'no evidence base' about the likely impacts of the Government's decision to ban puberty blockers for transgender youth.
