Also smt5v is an exception (very rare for atlus to NOT cut content in a super version),

and sega can't say shit with that one either cause vanilla was switch only. I'm GLAD I waited to play that one cause 60fps and possibly 120 if I use lossless scaling and it looks good 😌

Let's go over some of the mods, as well. This is that SNEdge that i've been hearing whispers about. It doesn't work the same way as the Edge Enhancer, but it's at least better than that crappy RGB Filter mod. Hopefully I won't have to add 330ohm pull-downs like I had to with the first one I tried.

It's just extremely baffling that time and time again, cheaters get around this stuff very simply with a 2nd pc and a capture card.

I remember when I was growing up, anti-cheats were done on something called dedicated servers! It was pretty neat cause for a lot of games, it actually worked!
November 26, 2025 at 9:32 PM
I don't have a whole lot of anti-cheat games and they're all EAC, but as long as these games (VRC is debatable whether it even is a game) keep invading people's pcs,

I'm gonna keep complaining about it and never run them on linux, and it does suck ass running windows on steam deck just for EAC
November 26, 2025 at 9:29 PM
Yes I know, I'm also still on VRC because I can't just ditch the connections I've made on there.

But it IS fucked up that EAC kills my interest in running VRC on linux cause hell no you're not getting kernel access on my real privacy OS, which just means keeping windows bloat on top of EAC

VRC already didn't have stellar performance before EAC, now it just runs horribly with kernel access. I love VRC too but it has ZERO business having that level of access to our pcs.

Kernel anti-cheats means the devs gave up on solutions at the server side and thus gave up on the users

Lmao I was saying this about new legacy when I was trying it and then I remembered
"Oh yeah, claw can never be balanced" 😆

I tried to play the cv2 redaction hack a long time ago, I still couldn't quite get into it.

This hack on the other hand, looks like it may be a cut above redaction! Might have to give this a spin on mister!
