Still waiting for ski season. Drove up to Cooper Spur today. There were a couple hard core kids skiing but I imagine they hit more than a few rocks. Lifts are not open. Hwy 35 is closed so we cant easily get to Meadows. Heading east tomorrow to find snow.

This guy/gal showed up in my sink after a rain deluge outside. I believe it is a rain beetle. Very interesting life cycle. They are only above ground for a very short time. Most of their lives (years) are spent as larve deep under ground.
