Of course, with the new logo comes new merch, which we're pretty excited about. Check it out: www.akpress.org/featured-pro....

(Never fear: the AK Press zipper hoodie with our old school design will be sticking around as a throwback.)

This past year was our 35th anniversary, and we've taken that opportunity to refresh our look with a brand-new logo! We were thrilled to work with anarchist graphic designer Kevin Yuen Kit Lo (LOKI Design), who has given our beloved logo a sleeker, more contemporary update.

We hope you like it!

Anarchism and Other Essays: "Easily one of the worst books on politics by a respected so-called theorist I have ever read, Emma Goldman represents everything that's wrong with anarchism, and boy is anarchism wrong about everything."

Dismantling the Master's Clock: "This book is an absolutely wild ride."
December 31, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Rojava in Focus: "It's neither a road map for revolution or toppling capitalism. It'd think of it more of a study of what humans can do in society, alongside the many and various ways they fail each other and themselves."
December 31, 2025 at 4:38 PM
A Southern Panther: "These interviews are a reminder that nobody is out here choosing to struggle and being in the movement for liberation, it's bestowed upon us who are surviving and trying to cultivate a livable future for our youth."
December 31, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Now and After: "Anarchism is such a complicated topic, but as a dum-dum, I enjoy this book --it's engaging and easy to digest. Even so, it was more exciting to google Berkman rather than reading the book itself, lmaooooo."

A Continuous Struggle: "may we all be like martin sostre"
December 31, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Ancestors: "'It's like going to church, if the church fucks (both literally and metaphorically)."
December 31, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Red Flag Warning: "This is exactly the kind of book we need more of as climate chaos intensifies - it's full of concrete examples of how regular people can help each other survive this era of catastrophe."
December 31, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Hope Without Hope: "It is a book about straddling the realities of a complex world where we need motivation to keep going even if there is not a concrete and positive victory in sight."
December 31, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Driven by the Movement: "It is a call for activists today to be willing to do the work, the mundane or repetitive work, that can help form a base for the big movements to come. It is also a warning to take time for yourself."
December 31, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Read This When Things Fall Apart: "This book is not going to insult you with platitudes. The authors of the different chapters are realists who have *seen some stuff.* ... This is not a feel-good book, but it does make you feel better: seen, strengthened, informed."
