Skimmed thru, so maybe i missed it. It would be interesting to compare a third group that bought the items in the store itself. Were their prices uniformly cheaper? The only legit differential pricing i can think of is lowering price for items that are getting too ripe or day old bread.

While this film clearly supports those 11,000 disenrolled tribal members, they interview the other side and present very convincing evidence. Raises serious questions about Native American Law and the abuse of power by corrupt trib al leaders.

It’s the supply and demand model. If you have a monopoly you can charge whatever you want and demand will be high from people whose lives are saved or just improved.

Unfortunately, in US journalism it is considered neutral to spread a lie, but it is considered "biased" to call out a lie. So, there is a structural asymmetry that rewards colorful lies with virality.

The “loss” doesn’t consider the benefits people and business get from the post office. Like saying the money spent on infrastructure is just a cost. Now weapons/bombs- they are disposable and have to be replaced over and over. And destroy things of value.

The whole point is to weaken the US. And with a cowardly GOP Congress and a corrupt SCOTUS he’s doing a pretty good job.

No individual will change things, but the cumulative effect of millions doing lots of little things will. Among the powerful fewer need act. 51 members of Congress can impeach. 67 Senators can convict. If each get 1000 letters/calls a day, they will. So write and call. Little but powerful actions

In no other situation would they be legally able to get so physically close to this woman. And they should be charged here for the appropriate sexual assault charges.

It doesn’t seem to bother my Rep or Junior Senator enough for them to take their constitutional responsibility to be the checks in checks and balances. My senior senator did vote to convict in 2nd impeachment and makes noises now and then.

Many students have started relying on AI to do their assignments. I suspect they will eventually turn to AI programs that shop for them. Then you’ll have AI ‘customers’

I appreciaed this commentary when I read it in the ADN. Why do pedestrians cross where there’s no crosswalk? Because in many cases walking to a crosswalk could add .5 mile or more to their trudge through icy walkways.

Let’s not jump to conclusions until the numbers are all in. 2024 was a presidential race with Trump drawing all his supporters to the polls. This was a special election, which wouldn’t usually attract too many voters. Did the Redistricting affect the outcome? Let’s wait until the dust clears

And what does it mean for the people Trump has p pardoned? This would mean pardons are temporary. Congress should investigate rumors that people are paying for pardons. That would constitute s bribe.
