If someone asked me to stop playing Christmas carols at the highest volume through the entire school PA system during their contracted work time first thing in the am, I'd be embarrassed that I made someone upset. That's just me.

The public bus system having a head stone next to one of their buses after hitting my husband with one is really in poor taste. I can't even tell you the amount of self control it takes to not post something on it.

My husband was hit by a bus. If it wasn't for me he'd be homeless before the end of the year. I'm not saying this as some kind of savior. It's a reminder you're one bad thing out of your control away from homelessness.

I may have made an assumption that the police were at school checking for seat belt use today and shared that with students as they left.

I can't post specifics but the reasons teachers don't stay are so numerous sometimes it shocks me people stay at all.

A modest proposal. Special education staffing is determined by service minutes and intensity of behaviors. Louder again: inclusion without supports is educational neglect for all.

"IEPs are so easy for students to get." Meanwhile we have to fight tooth and nail through MTSS and hundreds of interventions and data points and proof that it isn't a language barrier and proof that it isn't an attendance issue....
