Caffeine is probably the 'least' questionable thing I consume. I'm not about to give it up.

I really wanted to love Majora, but I had a lot of trouble finishing it.

I don't have money for games. I have rent, and retirement and kids college accounts that are underfunded. I can afford cheap games on the margins. I would love to spend more to fund the studios i liked, but I generally can't afford more than $15 (and usually spend less than $5).

I did that making a Dijon pasta recipe once. I scared away all the vampires

I would swear this is verbatim from one of the 'audio datapoints' in Horizon: Zero Dawn.

To be fair: it often feels like gambling. Just looked at benefits for next year and it's all a hedge against things I don't have yet. For example: I can only buy extra insurance against cancer if I don't yet have cancer.

Highly recommend the video(s) where Rick Astley got on stage with the Foo Fighters to perform a grunge version. Can't tell if this version has the best sound, but worth watching either way www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9-_...

I grew up near there as well and worked holiday hours at Costco. In the training videos, the owners noted that Washington didn't want them to sell Wine/beer and kept changing the rules, and it was so frustrating that they vowed to make sure their customers never had the same experience.

Is this the evil version from the mirror universe? Or does that make him a good guy in that universe? It's always so confusing.

A movie you've seen more than seven times with a gif.

Why does this look so much like the fictional Vought advertisements?

I've tried to watch a few just for context, but they are so infuriatingly dumb that these arguments would only work with kids with no prior knowledge. Any minute questioning and their stories just fall to pieces.

We're trying to cut back on Channels, but got two months of SHUDDR while working at home this summer. Got through alot, but the best thing I was was 'Channel zero' . Not a jump scare show, mostly psychological horror but well put together.

I don't know if I can name best, but I really like alot of the sidelines in Paul Simon songs. My wife plays him a lot on road trips and I'll catch a line that's distinct from the rest of hte song and dwell on it for the next hour of the road. Things like "Losing love is like a window in your heart"

There's a bunch of small ones that I love:
Poontypool - just a very small Canadian zombie-like that I love
Housebound - a weird wild keep you guessing ghost story/mystery/whoodunnit (director went on to make M3GAN)
Lake Mungo - an indie 'documentary' ghost story , just really subtle and eerie.

You know they could go and find old videos from 90's local broadcasting to actually show the 90's. They're always really interesting for looking close to (but never actually the same as) memories. Nostalgia isn't reality.
