I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Alaa. Alaa was a private Arabic teacher before the war and she lived with her 11 year old son Kareem. Alaa lost her home and job and her ex husband took Kareem to another part of Gaza. She is hoping she can gain back custody of him after this.

Alaa has social media in Gaza that predates the war, is friends with Tasneem whom I’ve shared and has many unique photos.

The genocide and the collapse of the legal system in Gaza put many women in the same position as Alaa where they cannot enforce their custody rights- help if you can.
