What gets my dander up especially now is how the same folks who embraced "defund the police" think themselves to be great at rhetoric. And they - the ones that correct "homeless", "pregnant woman", and tell you to add more letters to "LGBT...", whine about 'nitpicking' about terms.

Heck, I recall when anything military or military-like in the slightest were pegged to be "fascist" with all kinds of rationales attached to that.
Boy Scout uniforms were said to be fascist! This is a decades old bad habit on the part of parts of the left.
