"Hawarden" is a matter of dispute: the train announcements take it as it's spelled but no actual person does. "Parkgate Road" is definitely subject to Local Pronunciation Rules.

Most people in the UK can manage "Glasgow" and "Edinburgh" properly but Americans seem to think the first rhymes with "cow" and the second with the hole in the ground where lives a rabbit.
