I was replying to the original post “ only one nation that needs to pay reparations and it’s Russia”. Probably true, but never going to happen and poking a Russian bear isn’t great. Trump asking Ukraine for anything is ridiculous.

One of the causes of ww2 was the (harsh) level of repatriations on Germany.
