Can't believe that it's exactly 2 years ago today that I lost my mum. She died from bladder cancer on 8th October 2023, aged 85. I have missed chatting with her on the phone and being able to stay with her at her home in Neath, South Wales. Gone, but not forgotten! 💔

I am sorry to hear that Dame Patricia Routledge has died. She was incredibly gifted as an actress and has left us with some very memorable acting roles, none more so than Hyacinth Bucket in "Keeping Up Appearances". Just brilliant!! She will be greatly missed. RIP 💔

I am utterly appalled to hear about the attack on the synagogue in Manchester this morning. This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! My thoughts and prayers are with all those who have been affected by this outrage, especially the families of those who were murdered and wounded. 🙏🙏

I am so sorry to hear that Robert Redford has died. Truly, he was one of the greatest icons of American cinema, both in front and behind the camera. He was absolutely BRILLIANT! My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad time. He will be so sorely missed, but what a legacy! RIP 💔

Exactly 20 years ago today, I moved from Horsham, West Sussex to Hull. I can't quite believe it has been that long! Having spent my entire life in the south-east, it gave me a fresh start. Since moving to Hull, I have been completely mortgage free!!

Exactly 20 years ago today, 52 people lost their lives in the terrorist bomb attacks in London. Remembering all those affected by those horrific events, and for whom today's anniversary brings back painful and difficult memories. 💔🙏🙏

RIP Richard Chamberlain. I loved "The Three Musketeers" and its sequel. He was a great actor, although I guess he will always be remembered as "Dr Kildare". My condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. 💔

So sorry to hear that forner US President Jimmy Carter has died. He was a thoroughly decent and principled man who did a lot of great humanitarian work after leaving the White House. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time. May he Rest In Peace. 💔
