A Hydrogen fuelled engine will produce Nox as well as water. This can be removed catalytically but making enough Hydrogen to power all road vehicles by green methods is probably not practicable. Batteries are a better solution.

That's a hungry cat, it's probably finding it hard to find natural prey which is why it is in a ski resort.

A top management decapitation is in order, some of the underlings need to go as well.

I'm the same age as Trump and I get bruises like that quite regularly, they are pain free. Old skin is fragile particularly on the hands and arms, it doesn't signify a serious condition usually.

It wasn't mentioned in the headline but was in the full article.

I have an EV and the home charging troubleshooting information was found by AI which I used after a traditional search online. The troubleshooting was interactive as well. It is useful but my experience with it on summarising documents was not so good, it invented things that were wrong.

I saw an interview on the Met Office's YouTube channel where one of their climate scientists stated that the UK climate is warming at O.25C per decade. I'm fairly sure this is much more rapid than the models used by finance.

He's no use on tax avoidance, he had to cough up the money which included a substantial penalty. It seems it was a bit more than just carelessness.

The government stopping using X now would be a signal that these are not empty words.

I had just been listening to the instrumental version of Christmas Time is Here when I read your post, a nice coincidence.

My daughter has just come back from a weekend in Paris and remarked that we are much more like the French than the Americans which aligns with your statement. I agree with her as well.

I didn't know corruption was provincial.

You might be OK, it was raining heavily in the middle of the day in St Albans, the sky is now clear.

I think the charge will act as a disincentive to EVs as a purchase if you can only charge at public chargers which are mainly expensive to use. That needs addressing before the charge comes in in 2028. It's right that they do need to be fairly taxed, the extra 3p/mile is not a problem for me.

Giving it to charity works as well.

In 2022/23 the top 1% of earners provided 28.5% of the total income tax take which suggests they do pay their taxes.

I don't remember having a problem with them of any kind.

I live in St Albans, I don't consider it to be part of East Anglia. It's got far mor in common with counties such as Surrey and Buckinghamshire. The transport links are fantastic but the house prices are very high, only London's prices are higher.

He wishes to penalise the less well off in favour of tax breaks to the rich, it's what Reform is all about. If you can't afford to pay your employees decently you shouldn't be in business.

There's a vast difference in the amount of business rates collected in Westminster and Middlesbrough. Councils get to keep a proportion and it's another reason for the difference in bands. It needs to be completely reformed.
