Referring to this actual record player (looks nice but actually a little bit rubbish), it was the new vinyl that jumped, and a new 12" that was unplayable, the old records played fine, have no problems on the new turntable, I bought instead.

I had a lot of new viynl jumping on this too, so I bought a new turntable instead, used this as a base, and for the cd player, and nothing jumps now, unless it's scratched

My solution would be a jury vote of 10 people, and a public vote of a random selected 1000 people but not told they have the important vote so can't be bought off, complicated but hey it needs an overhaul

The upshot being I don't think I can ever bet on Eurovision ever again, cos that was all over the place, and now the potential to manipulate the public vote has been exposed by a certain country, can we ever get a true reflection of what the public like, ever again!
