(case is fine. most of the components are fine. i don't know which part melted but i can tell you that it stank REAL bad. the air here is awful)

teaser until then: is this an example of a double-cover of rotations? i do not think so. Pythagoras twice probably doesn't count, but let's /not/ watch it

i know both of those tools! been using the following but possibly using them wrong so far. bit of a newbie

an unsolicited richard pic, just in case you needed one:

(he was terrible but this is a pun attempt to make you smile a bit)

i use Linux. but i do not like to. it avoids Bill Gates and Steve Jobs well enough, but puts me way too close to the Department of Defense and Google.

my favorite operating systems will be MicroPython and CircuitPython

brand new emotion just unlocked.
holy fuck.
need thirty minutes to sit and process this with quiet foces. after rewriting the unprintables out this skeet three times

Ooo apparently they can work pretty well in deserts...

Well if people enjoyed that one, there was also this time Farnsworth and Hirsch designed a small fusion reactor that could fit atop a foldup tv dinner table.

(Different first names, possibly no relation. I'm taking a nap. Reactor works great tho)

A few days ago a friend of mine was asking about half lives and then I saw this cute battery chip:

Post a perfect album from the 1790s that isn't Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, or Alice In Chains.

compare silver-copper alloys? iirc, they don't make solid solution or intermetallics, and the silver parts will have a negative voltage strong enough to rapidly corrode the copper parts
November 18, 2024 at 11:05 PM
i was thinking maybe intermetallic alloys like Ni1Al1 have increased corrosion resistance? because it's all one phase instead of eutectic plate-or-bar microstructure, there's no way to develop a voltage, and you don't get galvanic corrosion.
(be skeptical, i'm sick and maybe thinking nonsense)

i saw crocheted klein bottles but no pattern yet if these look any fun @anjaloafabread.bsky.social

Apparently you add bsky.app/profile/jaz.... to your feeds then pin it, and it should look something like:

what a wonderful mental image that evokes.
i miss Stargazer, and the Crusher family just looks wild

regrettably, Mr Seven of Nine Inches "the... outfit... helps his skin regenerate" was lost to the mists of time, at least for now. i remain determined to refind him. for now, a silly terran empire cover art:

Limits do not Commute:
(the discrete Fubini-Tonelli edition)

sequences are different. sequences can converge conditionally but not absolutely. these wouldn't even do that, they were just divergent. what if we put 1-1/2+1/3-1/4+... into a matrix? terms would be rearranged. would that have a sum?

And has Louis Ferreira ever done a just for fun calendar photoshoot or something?

There are days we need to be more feminist with our outfits

anyone who wants to play with the raw data may, but 538 language names (iirc) don't fit into an alt-txt

One of my best friends a few months ago mentioned being lonely. And it reframed my whole last few years suddenly. It's easier to do something about the misery if we know where it's coming from? But some days it'd be easier to change the past.

(Zooming in as everything shrinks feeling)

No, no, I think you were probably right! It's not stellar at salt maybe, but definitely up there fairly high
August 10, 2024 at 5:49 PM
Agreed 😳
And I believe @danabra.mov was curious about our current settings, which site behaviors have been useful so far? A good question I'll try to answer!

Would it help if my neighbors are asking the local library to buy more copies? Because I just realized that's actually happening.

I did already buy the paperback but sometimes audiobooks are nicer
