Part two if you ever get a chance to look at colonial paintings like this one you will notice the skin and how scratchy it is they used a technique of painting called hatching to make a face look flawed so that’s racist in my view
I should add there are paintings of wealthy Black people but….

My favorite era of modern Jewish culture is the fin de siecle especially of those amazing Jewish art collectors I read a fabulous book about them I highly recommend it if you like art and Jewish life and experience

I just read How Paris became Paris I really enjoyed it

I just finished reading a awesome book about Paris and it had some very interesting kernels that f information such as we wouldn’t have sidewalks today if it wasn’t for the French and how modern Instagram influencers go all the way back to the 1720’s
If you love Paris like I do u will love the book
