Not a Labour voter, but this UK Labour approach has been piloted for years by Scottish Labour where they would willingly align closely to Tory policy just to not be aligning to SNP. In fact would also form pacts with Tories on local councils just to stop SNP control. Always seen as Red Tories

Same Tesco who mandated staff to stay home yesterday (right decision btw), but don't want to pay them for those shifts. With their pay cutoff today there will be workers who will be in financial difficulty as any replacement shifts are going into the next pay
